I had watched this movie a year ago, but I forgot the title and the author. I did A LOT of digging to find it again, but it was worth it. You're one of my favorite authors. Well done. Some tips

I really liked how you managed to explore different angles. This sure was some nice movie. Anyway, here's a tip: when it's dark it would look better if there was some contrast. For example, the outdoors with the moon, you could put moon lights on the trees and the car. Look at Hitchhiker to see how that guy did it. And the colors are changed by the light too. In the cemetery the grass could've been of a blue shade instead of green, because of the bluish quality of moonbeams. Keep up the good work!

Sprite movies usually suck

I don't really like most sprite movies. But this one was really well done! I can see you had a lot of pixel based work to do there. It's kind of annoying when people zoom to Mario's pixel face and he opens that perfectly circular vectorial mouth. You're the kind of guy who actually works on the sprite instead of doing that cheapness. I like that. Keep on the good work.

An advice

You used mostly flat colors. That means you could have traced it to vector. Maybe it would require a lot of clean up (removing excess bezier points, etc), but it would reduce the size of the file, I think. Not that it's too big, the size is accetable now. But it would have it's advantages

ok, the story was lame, but it was well done. If you do better stories you may be more famous than Knox, he's not that great IMHO. The characters were better animated and better defined than his stuff.
